With appropriate Makefile.arch changes, of course.
I haven't real hardware, but basic tests runs under QEMU fine.
Moreover, it tested by glibc users since generic lowlevellock.c
exactly the same as ours.
I am fine with this change, removing unneccessary architecture
specific files is a good thing.
