Yes, this was discussed when I submitted the binutils patches:

Also, side question: do you support both EABI and
EABIhf, i.e is
arm-uclinuxfdpiceabihf supported ?
I didn't test the hf version. But given the nature of the changes, I
think it should work. Are you worried about something in particular?
