New subject: Moving from defconfig to custom config - kernel doesn't build anymore
Hi,
back from vacation, and back into the OpenADK setup.
I got one step further in my attempts to build the kernel - now it is the kernel building
failing, instead of the kernel downloading.
Find the necessary info attached.

Hey,
just an update on this: it took me a while to get it, but this in fact a git problem. I’ve
not yet dug to the root cause, but the checkout marks those files that have other-case
siblings as “deleted”. I can checkout them, and then things continue to work.
Obviously my volume is case sensitive, but something about git is awry. I will investigate
further, just wanted to let you know you don’t need to go on a wild goose chase here.

I checked your .config on Linux and MacOS X host.
Works fine. But I updated the default kernel version for raspberry
pi, because the branch is faster to clone in swallow mode than a
specific hash. The compressed kernel source is then 1.5 GB and this
make some trouble on my MacOS git client too.
Try after git pull. Cleanup your ccache, the compile error might be
some ccache issue.
